Whether you want to bring your kids or yourself, this is a safe and welcoming space for everyone. You do what you can and work at your own pace while still having the instructors challenge you/your kiddo(s). It's been a great third space as well as a nice extracurricular for our whole family. Cannot recommend enough for you to take the leap and try it out!!

I truly love this place. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, warm, and encouraging. I’ve been training here for almost a year now and the positivity and support from SBJC has helped me grow every single class in both my skills and confidence in judo. Im really glad I joined this club!

Amazing experience there so far! Been there for 6+ months, and it feels like home. Everyone is so welcoming, and the sensei pushes you but understands your limits well. We learn through practice and randori! Would recommend for any kid or adult! Great exercise too.

We made the commitment to send our son here 1.5 years ago and it was the best decision for him. This sport has really pushed our son and shown him what he is capable of accomplishing with hard work and determination. The club is like an extended family for him and another great, safe and inviting place for our son and our family. Sensei Gabe's dedication and determination has shown us what a great, dependable and knowledgeable coach looks like. He is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our child is able to do judo and love it. Honestly, I could go on and on. Cannot wait for our younger ones to attend as well! We have never been big sports fan, but Judo has really changed that for us!

Our son started practicing judo with Sensei Gabe about 1.5 years ago. We have had a wonderful experience seeing our son grow in his knowledge of judo technique and discipline and how that has positively impacted all areas of his life. Sensei is a wonderful teacher. He provides a great example in all ways for his students. The dojo is safe, well-equipped and clean. The students have the opportunity to compete as part of the SBJC team and put their skills to the test.
